Benzoic Acid ia raw material for benzoic salts, esters, liquid detergents, paints, polishes waxes, and preservative as it increase storage stability, mitigates corrosion in emulsion formulations. Benzoic Acid ia also used as building block for the production of many end products, including alkyd resins to improve gloss, hardness and chemical resistance. Benzoic Acid is used in industrial applications as a precursor for the production of plasticisers and dyes. In the plant industries, it is in unsaturated polyester composite resigns.
