Our Approach
IGPL operates five chemical plants in Taloja MIDC, Raigad District. The surrounding community — villages, families, and small businesses — share the same land, water, and air. That proximity is both a practical reality and a responsibility we take seriously.
Our CSR program is governed by Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. Eligible amounts are directed toward education, healthcare, and livelihood programs in the local area, managed through established charitable and institutional channels.
We do not conflate CSR spending with marketing. These are structured community investments made because we believe a company with IGPL's scale and stability has an obligation to its location.

CSR Focus Areas
Support for local schools, skill development centers, and educational infrastructure in Raigad District. Includes support for books, equipment, and facilities. Target beneficiaries: children and youth within the Taloja MIDC locality.
Health camps, medical check-up programs, sanitation infrastructure in villages adjoining the plant site. Partnership with local healthcare organizations to extend preventive care to underserved households in the Taloja area.
Support for local infrastructure, women's self-help groups, and community development initiatives under the purview of local government bodies in Raigad District. Focused on sustainable, participatory development.

IGPL's CSR activities are overseen by the Board-level CSR Committee, constituted as required under the Companies Act, 2013. Annual CSR reports are filed with statutory authorities and published in the Annual Report. Our CSR policy is available on request.
